im not mad keen...the 'dance without you' artwork held a bit more of a sense of the mystery surrounding "who skylar is", which seems to be the marketing direction her team are taking with her debut, this one has smoke writing...not cool.

as the countdown closes in on the release of the ULTIMATE deluxe/limited edition release this side of lady gaga's 'the fame monster (super deluxe edition)', i decided to do a post on the special behind the scenes website created to show how the production of the piece was coming along..exciting times!!

NEW LIMITED EDITION ARTWORK (?) : kylie minogue - aphrodite (the goddess edition)

SOOOOO excited for this to be released :D supposedly it will incorporate "Augmented Reality", where you can look at the edition through an iPhone/iPad and see kylie performing on the stage pop-up!! ALSO this cover has popped up (pun well and truly intended!) on the web, real cover or fan made??

getting back to the dancey direction that one of her early solo singles ('i turn to you') took, it's catchy and fun...cover artwork is horrendous though, boring and unoriginal...she looks fierce though!

NEW DELUXE EDITION ARTWORK : beyonce - 4 (deluxe edition)

set to include the standard album, a second disc of three new songs and three remixes of 'run the world (girls)' and there's murmurs of a DVD also...liking this new trend of 3 disc sets...:D:D

NEW EP ARTWORK : wynter gordon - with the music i die (EP)

the full album version is being released in australia (where wynter is blowing up!) and the EP is being released in the US, to drum up anticipation for the whole album. can't wait to see what she's gunna be serving up! also love that the artwork has the theme running through them :D

LIMITED EDITION : rihanna - loud (couture edition)

this edition was released at the same time as the standard and deluxe edition of the album, as a limited release. it includes the standard album, along with a dvd of 'the making of loud', packaged in an oversized digipak, with oversized booklet and limited edition lithograph print. with rihanna's 'loud tour' just about to begin and the singles 'man down' and 'california king bed' doing well, i decided this would be the next limited edition i'd show to you all :) show click "Read More" to dive into the fiery-haired diva's 'loud (couture edition)' :

front (the edition is the size of a 12" vinyl, i didn't even realise until it arrive, all the pictures i had seen made it look like a CD case size!)

the whole oversized digipak is covered by a slipcase with the album's title (and riri's name of course) on, i love this feature, simple, original and really adds to the luxury feel of the edition.

i'm getting see-lightly confused over what will be the overall cover and back cover artwork of the 'les folies tour edition'... see my original post for the artwork already released and then these images have also surfaced. promo shots or artwork?

i've been so distracted by the excitement for 'the goddess edition' (also check out my post for that below), that i didn't really think of how the 3CD tour edition would be packaged, the price suggests it'll be more then a simple plastic case, possibly a book with slipcase? time will tell and i'll post as soon as mine arrives....

i posted this artwork a while ago now, but it had the release date (july 26th) on it too, so i wasn't sure whether it was the final artwork, thankfully it is :) a step up from the hot mess that was 'colour me free's cover...

on the run up to the release of her 'the collection - the albums 2000 - 2010', the 3CD package 'aphrodite (les folies tour edition)' and the ultimate deluxe-limited edition everrrr 'aphrodite (the goddess edition)' (check out my posts on them below), kylie's peeps have been drumming up several versions of the latest single release 'put your hands up'. this is the cover artwork for  the australian single release, much more in the vein of the album artwork, then the uk version (also posted below). all in all, kylie is on fire right now!!

the visuals for this new era are slightly confusing, there seems to be no common photo shoot used or general aesthetic they're going for, i hope that doesn't hold back the album's success, as the songs are turning out to be really good!

unsure if this is the next single or official cover artwork, i think as the 'f.a.m.e' album gained success a lot more effortlessly than brown's team probably thought it would they've gone quite slack on the single's front (artwork and videos included...), still such a good record though!
