YES! My favourite from last year's X Factor UK - Fleur East - is ready to unleash her debut single and has teased the release with the cover art for single 'Sax'. Giving some big haired, brightly primary coloured yumness - I'm loving this. Graphic, bold and great use of 3D lettering. Here's hoping the song doesn't disappoint...

With the look they've gone for with their debut album's releases it at times verges on a little childish looking - the artwork for 'Wings' got the balance right, of bright colours, but still a cool edge. This artwork (for new single 'Change Your Life') feels a little too preschool for my taste... maybe too much baby blue and pink?

This is what I like to call (I've never said this before, but it could be a thing haha) a solid-as-fuck-Pop-artwork! Love the doubled up image, love the pose she's pulling, love the hand rendered type. It's a certified solid-as-fuck-Pop-artwork.

NEW SINGLE ARTWORK : cher lloyd - with ur love (US version)

So, Cher's US edition of 'Sticks & Stones' unveiled a welcome new visual direction, seemingly more adult-looking than what was shown in the UK version. This new visual can be seen on the cover of second US single 'With Ur Love' - interestingly, this version doesn't feature Mike Posner, someone who isn't unknown in the States. simonsez likes it, do you?

p.s. Goodness, that use of Century Gothic type hasn't grown on me...can't wait for her to ditch it for the next album's artwork!

So the first X Factor US winner - Melanie Amaro - has unveiled her second single 'Don't Fail Me Now'...and it's as tame as this Taylor Swift-snatching artwork. Nice enough...but "meh"...

Another one of last year's X Factor UK alumni that I am very excited about is Ms. Amelia Lily! Her debut song is a Xenomania (the team behind AYYLOTTA Girls Aloud's sound) written track called 'You Bring Me Joy' - and here is the artwork. It is giving me some vibes of early Marina & The Diamonds mixed with some very up to date No Doubt (the colours and saturation turned up to the maximum!). All in all I'm liking it...except the type of "you bring me joy", it looks so awkward and thrown on...a score of 8/10 for this one methinks!

I can't take the name 'Misty Eye' seriously...I just keep hearing "whispering eye" from the film Role Models in my head haha - But on we go! The artwork feels ever so slightly like a teen-adult novel: "We're young, we're whatever we want to be, let's dabble in drugs and rope". Props to Aiden for taking his time over the visual and having something to actually take in, here's the music has the same quality.

Loving me some of 'Homerun' - such an awesome debut single and the video is a great visual - but I'm ready for what else is to come! Check out the video below which shows Mish' on her artwork photoshoot in a house and around the streets of Mancester. Yum!
