NEW PROMO PIC : justin & jay-z 'legends of the summer stadium tour'

JT continues that "suit n tie shit" with good pal Jay-Z for the mutedly suave poster for up coming summer tour 'Legends Of The Summer'. You like?

NEW PROMO PIC : beyoncé 'the mrs. carter show : world tour'

Today saw an image emerge that could be the first promo picture for King B's next step towards world domination...tentatively titled 'The Mrs. Carter Show : World Tour'! She said she has a big announcement after her Superbowl performance tomorrow...who thinks it'll be tour dates??

UPDATE : Today is definitely B-day! Still coming down from the high of her halftime show, then the world tour announcement and with each passing hour more details and promo pics seem to be arising. Such as this new poster:

RANDOM : katy perry wants the fans to decide her next movie poster...

UPDATE : So the winning poster is....

So Ms. Perry tweeted:

...and then posted two film posters, asking her fans to decide which one they prefer and the most popular one will become the next movie advertisement for her movie 'Part Of Me 3D'! I've included the hashtags along with them (below), basically tweet that and let Katy know which you prefer...

NEW PROMO PIC : new katy perry "part of me 3D" poster

So there is a lot of buzz forming around Ms. Perry's new tour movie and it has garnered another poster for your greedy eyes to feast on - sickly sweet and a lil' cheeky, just what we want!

p.s. Check out the other poster here.

LIMITED EDITION : madonna - the immaculate collection (the royal box edition)

so i asked simonsez-CD readers (some time ago, sorry for the delay!) which limited edition piece they wanted a cover-to-cover review of next and y'all chose....madonna's 'the immaculate collection (the royal box edition'. enjoyyyyyy:

so this 1990 release was to celebrate madge's first compilation album, which included all her hits from her debut in 1984 right up through to the 90s. it was also used to commemorate her highly successful appearance at the 1990 mtv video music awards - where she performed a marie antoinette-inspired performance of 'vogue'. so let's dive in...

the front cover of 'the royal box', one of the first deluxe editions that used the vinyl sized shape that many of the modern limited releases use.

the back of the edition shows the first use of the vma 1990 performance:

NEW PROMO PIC : madonna - the mdna tour 2012 programme

now, i was a lil' upset with ms. ciccone for the shade she is throwing gaga's way lately...but i can't deny some hot-as-sh*t design. loving this cover for her latest tour programme! mm-hmmm! links into the colourful/fashionista look of the actual 'mdna' album, but also gives us some religious-imagery-realness that i'm sure she'll be using in her tour. reluctantly, i say well done madge...

NEW PROMO PIC : katy perry "part of me 3D" poster

so i posted the film's logo some time ago and now the awesome movie poster has been unveiled! absolutely loving it, well executed and fits in perfectly with the feel of the album era :) supposedly

also yahoo.com has an exclusive version of the poster which comes alive before yours eyes (see a screen grab below) and click here to see it for yourselves :D

NEW PROMO PIC & LOGO ARTWORK : jennifer lopez "dance again" world tour

so after the mess of a poster for the US leg with enrique iglesias, j-to-tha-l-o has stepped it ever so slightly with the "world tour" version...it's still pretty weak though :/ i just don't understand why they're using an old promo pic...

also thought i'd post this era's logo, as that is the only redeeming factor from the poster haha!

NEW PROMO PIC : kate nash "faster pussycats! run run" 2012 tour

love this! a taster of the third album's artwork? (seeing as she will be performing new tracks in this tour - which i'm going to see!! anyone else?)

NEW LOGO ARTWORK : jennifer lopez & enrique iglesias tour (supported by wisin & yandel)

whatisthismess??? old ass promo pictures, stupid placement of their names above the OTHER artist, wisin & yandel looking like they've stepped out of the argos catalogue...mess! and don't question if it's official, as i did, it's all over jenny's website!!

NEW ALBUM ARTWORK : steps - the ultimate collection (tour edition)

to celebrate their triumphant return to the music world, the awesome five piece released their 'ultimate collection' as a standard 1-disc and 2-disc (CD/DVD) deluxe edition. then they announced the 'live 2012' album, which will feature their 'ultimate tour' recorded live. now the pop royalty have unleashed 'the ultimate collection (tour edition)', which will include the standard greatest hits track-list and an extra disc of karaoke versions!

the artwork is the classic, cheese-fest...but we love it :P

NEW LOGO ARTWORK : katy perry - part of me 3D

NEW PROMO PIC : kylie - anti tour

a new promo picture has arisen from kylie's verrry limited 'anti tour', really hoping they record it for those super fans that can't shimmy over to australia :(

NEW LOGO ARTWORK : kylie's 'anti tour' logo

another announcement from kylie in her 'k25' year! this time it's what all the super fans have been waiting for: the 'anti tour'! supposedly having a setlist made up completely of "fan favourites" (b-sides, demos and rarities that no one thought they'd hear live!) it is definitely a tour to get excited about and here is the official logo (anyone else getting major deconstruction/'impossible princess' vibes??):

NEW LOGO ARTWORK : lady gaga 'the born this way ball' tour

the other day i posted about the alternative 'the born this way ball' tour poster, which was a little more reserved then the photoshopped mess that also made the rounds. below is a high quality version of the new logo. enjoy!

! updated ! NEW PROMO PIC : lady gaga - the born this way ball tour

so after my see-light rant about the new 'the born this way ball' tour poster, an image of a newspaper ad for the tour has been unveiled and it seems someone had the same idea as me...in cutting that mother fudger down and recolouring it black and white! simonsez knows his design :)

(posted by "ivan" on littlemonsters.com)

NEW PROMO PIC : lady gaga - the born this way ball tour

mad excited for this tour (the idea of "the monster pit" is sending me into a frenzy!!) and the lady has slowly been eeking out details over the past week. today saw the unveiling of the official tour poster...and it isn't great. there are some redeeming qualities: the logo (that impact-style type is still hitting the spot for me), the snippets of the new stage (turrets! TURRETS!!) and gargs voguing it the hell up with a piano dress (i have it in blue). but what in the sweet sam hell is going on in the top half?! why has that olllld promo pic been photoshopped into the clouds :/ i don't get it...and the ugly turquoise/pink shades seeping out of the sky are just eww. on first thoughts it is nothing on the the monster ball tour poster in my opinion.

whadda you think?

p.s. for reals...cut off the top half and k.i.s.s. (keep it sexy & simple, mya-style) with straight black and white. BOOM!

NEW LOGO ARTWORK : madonna tour logo

ticketmaster.com recently posted this logo on madonna's artist page as her next tour's official logo. it includes the new logo type from her 'MDNA' album artwork :D what do you think?
