Today saw an image emerge that could be the first promo picture for King B's next step towards world domination...tentatively titled 'The Mrs. Carter Show : World Tour'! She said she has a big announcement after her Superbowl performance tomorrow...who thinks it'll be tour dates??

NEW ALBUM ARTWORK : destiny's child - love songs

Destiny's Child are preparing to release a new compilation album titled 'Love Songs' (following on from 2012's 'Playlist : The Very Best Of Destiny's Child'), a collection of their most romantic music along with (hold your breath) A NEW SONG! Like 'Playlist', the artwork is a rehash of an old photoshoot (these images originally being used for the 'Lose My Breath' artwork) and while the girls haven't seemed to age since 2004, it would've been nice to have all new images...especially as the editing on this one is a little off, with Kelly's arm falling a little short of the border...

So, when it was announced a couple of months back that a new Destiny's Child release was in the pipeline, the blogosphere went wild...then it was announced that it was a new compilation album :/ The artwork looks like one of those godawful unofficial compilations that supermarkets throw together (as in cheap 'n' nasty) - the only saving grace is that photo, from the 'Destiny Fulfilled' era, is flawwwwwwless!

well this cover is left of centre for the '4' era! for the digitally released remix EP bey has decided some splatterific artwork (of stills from the original '4' photoshoot) will be just the trick. i like it :) two things though...i wish it wasn't so crowded and also that the type was smaller, that size isn't working for me. otherwise, good job all round :D

RANDOM : queen bey unveils her new official website and it looks uh-mazing!

so beyoncé has unveiled her new, updated official website and it looks awesome! she put a note on it stating that it had been a "long time in the making" and from the layout, to the quality of the design, you can tell a lot of work has gone into it.

so while i was trawling around the new beyhive, i discovered that a great emphasis has been put on showcasing each album's artwork. you can scroll through each release:

once selected, the track listing emerges on top of a crystal clear, high quality version of the associated album's cover.  

you can then select to expand the rest of the album's artwork...

the visuals for this new era are slightly confusing, there seems to be no common photo shoot used or general aesthetic they're going for, i hope that doesn't hold back the album's success, as the songs are turning out to be really good!

obviously it's great she's giving proceeds to charity, but i think the public are getting confused with what she's coming back with, as 'who run the world (girls)' is dissappearing before it's even begun and someone even asked me if the 'get me bodied (remix)' she just dropped for a 'get healthy' campaign was the new single... : / ...bey', 'i am sasha fierce' set a standard that you're not meeting (yet).
