wow, second single already?? hope he isn't just churning songs out for this album :/ artwork always falls by the wayside when artists begin releasing single after single. glad he's keeping up with that new logo though :)

NEW LIVE ALBUM ARTWORK : shakira - live from paris

a tad generic ("here's a photograph of shakira performing on a stage...let's use it as the cover for the album where she's been recorded singing on a stage!!") and the visual doesn't fit in at all with the artwork released from this album's era :/ a tad slapdash for my taste...

NEW SINGLE ARTWORK : little mix - cannonball

THEY DID IT! so your x factor 2011 winner is...LITTLE MIX! as an avid girlband fan, this is extremely good news (who wants to bet there will be an influx of new girl groups :D:D). here is their debut single artwork to kick it all off...here's to many more!

though she is about to drop her first born, she's still dropping those singles for the US release of her debut 'the night the sun came up'...including this amarrzing duet with enrique :) the photos used are old promos, but you know you can't go wrong with black and white in simonsez's eyes!

another week at the top spot for one direction, well done lads! :D getting ready to see what the third single's artwork will look like, soon to be released...

2. (up one) david guetta - without you (ft. usher) (the remixes)

up one place, showing that the single is losing no speed and that even more people are checking for this cover! reallly hope that he keeps up the visual theme for the next single (said to be 'turn me on (ft. nicki minaj)'.

3. (new entry) taio cruz - hangover (ft. flo rida)

NEW ENTRY! taio is on his way back into the charts with third album 'ty.o' and this single is really making waves across the globe's charts. also, i've said it before and i'll say it again, really glad taio's switching up his visuals...it was time for a change!

4. (up one) one direction - up all night (hmv exclusive slipcases)

so 1D have two places on this week's "most popular"...AGAIN! it really reflects their recent success and i'm sure they'll just go from strength to strength.

 

5. (down one) cher lloyd - with ur love (ft. mike posner)

and finally, even though it has slipped one place, lots of people are still looking up cher's latest single cover...the third single will soon be unveiled as well, looking forward to that artwork :D

so, diana is back with her second album...as yet untitled...to kick things off she has released a new logo, new photos and a free download of a song 'music to make boys cry', on her website (dianavickersmusic.com).

larrns released the album's cover last week and now the single (of the same name) is also getting a release, including this artwork below :) it is a still from the buzz video she released with the audio not long ago...not sure if that was a prelude into what the official video will look like... anyone else wondering what kind of visual she's going to come up with now she has some record company money backing her (compared to the "home video/choppy editing" buzz videos she's released so far)?

NEW ALBUM ARTWORK : goldfrapp - the singles

always lovvvvvvved goldfrapp's artwork, 'black cherry' and 'supernatural' have to be two of my favourite album covers ever and this compilation doesn't disappoint either! going with a theme similar to kylie's compilation 'the collection : the albums (2000-2010) cover, encompassing different elements from the sleeves of their back catalogue. it is a strong visual and makes me very excited to see what other collages the artwork will include :) 

NEWS : madonna's twelfth studio album artwork will be released next week!

madge is under way with setting up the promo for her as-yet-untitled twelfth studio release, the first single ('give me all your love' featuring m.i.a. and nicki minaj) has just had it's video shot and now news has arisen that the album's artwork will be unveiled as soon as next week! said to have been art directed and photographed by mert & marcus, a majorly talented duo who shot madonna for "interview" magazine in 2010. going by those images it is going to be fierceeeeeely ay-may-zang!...CAN'T WAIT! can you?

NEW REMIX SINGLE ARTWORK : ke$ha - sleazy 2.0 (get sleazier) (ft. lil wayne, wiz khalifa, t.i. & andre' 3000)

earlier this week i posted about a potential new single artwork from our favourite glitter queen, ke$ha...but instead of that being confirmed or denied, from nowhere a new remix for 'sleazy' has arisen named '2.0 (get sleazier)', featuring a whole host of your fave rap/hip-hop artists (christmas come early, anyone?). loving the artwork too, something that's making me question the authenticity of 'only wanna dance with you' was how closely it kept to her older cover sleeves, this definitely feels like a step on...me like! :)
