NEW EP & BACK COVER ARTWORK : d. woods - my favourite colour : volume 1

So, from Ke$ha making colourful and gaudy work...to a Danity Kane alum making it fall flat on it's ass for her latest EP release:

p.s. What is it with chicks splashing around in the paint and thinking it looks hot??

NEW ALBUM ARTWORK : dawn richard - goldenheart

LOVE Dawn's hustle - after being left stranded by Diddy, Ms. Richard released the awesome EP 'Armor On' and now is set to unleash a full length debut album in the form of 'Goldenheart'. The artwork is reminiscent of that Ashanti promo pic from last year...but who remembers that but simonsez?! One thing I'd change is how close the title is to her face, only a minor gripe :P Overall two thumbs up from me:

NEW SINGLE ARTWORK : dawn richard - prettywickedthings

Well! Yumness ahoy :) Dawn has decided to create three artworks for latest buzz track 'PrettyWickedThings' - with visuals and type that seem to take inspiration from one Sophia "Soso" Somajo. The third shows a snippet of Dawn with some ferocious nail art, which personally I think really reflects the sound of the song #werk

NEW SINGLE ARTWORK : shannon bex - i'm out

The latest ex-Danity Kane gal to go solo is the (quiet one of the group) Shannon! The sound is country-esque and I'm all for it...the artwork is decent: the image is in check and I'm liking two out of the three types used (that "I'm Out" one is a little too Microsoft Word for me...). For me, everything would be better if only two types had been used and the red wasn't so "there" - a softer tone would've worked so much better, that primary shade is too garish for me.
